How does persistence lead to success?

"You can’t afford to quit on your dreams.” -Terry Bradshaw

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of learning from Terry Bradshaw at a conference in California. He's a football champion and I was excited to hear his message, so I could share it with all of you. :)

The main message I heard from Terry about his success was that he used persistence and perseverance to continue pursuing his dream. In high school he wasn't played, in college he was the back-up, and then he went on to win multiple Super Bowls. How did this happen? Terry used persistence to continue despite his struggles.

In life we expect that everything needs to work out exactly as we would like it to work out in order to reach success. I've found that it's the times in life when things do not work out that I learn more about being persistent and success because I need to continue despite the struggle. The struggles in our life are the things that make us stronger. It's those time in life when we do the work-out on the day we don't want to that we are able to grow into healthier versions of ourselves. In business it's the day you keep working past the struggle to ultimately reach success.

To reach any goal we must persist, try, get-up, try again, try again, grow, try again, try again, grow, try again, and then finally reach success. Champions understand that the growth happens on a daily process, not in a day.

Today, keep going! You've got this, my friend.

Make today amazing!

Allison
