Show Up for Yourself Every Day
By Allison Liddle
I woke up at 5 am today, like I do most weekdays. I grabbed my coffee, a book, and sat by the fireplace to start off my morning. I read, did my devotionals, thought about my day, and then I worked out. πͺ
All of this was completed before 7:30 am.
Why does that matter?
Because, as a mom of 2 young kids, owner of 2 businesses, sister, friend, and leader....I have a lot of hats to wear each day. If I don't "show up for myself," right away in the morning there is a very good chance it'll never happen.
What could "showing up for yourself" do for you?
-
It could help you find time to read personal growth/development books.
-
It could help you time for your faith/gratitude practice.
-
It could help you set yourself up to have focus and energy each day.
-
It could help you feel less reactionary and more in control.
-
It could help you get physically stronger and healthier.
-
It could help you become mentally resilient.
-
It could help you develop discipline and persistence.
-
It could help you show your family what commitment looks like.
-
It could help you have more confidence.
-
It could help you prioritize your life better.
One decision to "show up for yourself" each day could have all of these amazing results.
Are you "showing up for yourself?"
